How to use text to create an event on your calendar
How Do I Use Text to Create an Event?
Anything you can do from the chat box in the app, you can also do over text. Just message your assistant's phone number and it works the same way.
Finding your assistant's number
At the top of the app, you'll see a Save Okthx to Contacts option. From there you can view the phone number and email, and download a vCard.
On Desktop, download the vCard, then click on the file to add it to your contacts.
On Mobile, tap download and it'll prompt you to add it to your contacts right away.
Scheduling by text
Once you have the number saved, just text what you need. For example:
"Remind me to go to the dentist tomorrow at 10am"
"Schedule time with Ava for a lunch meeting tomorrow"
Send photos and screenshots too
Your assistant can read images, so don't just limit yourself to typing.
See a flyer at your kid's school? Snap a photo, send it to Okthx, and say "Add this to my calendar."
Have a text conversation where you agreed to meet up Friday at 4? Screenshot it, send it over, and say "Add this to my calendar."
Your assistant will pull out the details and handle the rest. Quick and easy.
